Creating Independent Adults: Introducing Life Skills and Executive Functioning Skills at Home

The training will provide caregivers strategies on how to create and support independence at home. Caregivers will identify the factors to consider in prioritizing what skills to teach and learn strategies on how to effectively create systems to implement these new skills.

The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Transition and Adult Programs Team is offering a four-part webinar series to help families support their teens and adults develop important skills while at home during the COVID-19 crisis. The goal of this series is to provide parents with strategies to effectively communicate with their teens and adults, while building new skills to make them more independent at home.
